RLL Spring Little League Baseball & Softball 2025
Description of what Little League Baseball & Softball is all about: RLL Spring Baseball & Softball Divisions | Registration includes a Team Baseball/Softball hat/visor and Team T-Shirt/Jersey.
Tee-Ball Baseball - 5-6 year-old teams
Pee-Wee Coach Pitch Baseball & Softball - 6-8 year-old teams (Requires 1 year of Tee-Ball participation - age dependent)
Pee-Wee Player-Pitch Baseball - 7-8 year-old teams (Requires 1 year of Pee-Wee Coach-Pitch participation - age dependent)
Minor Softball - 8-10 year-old teams
Major Softball - 10-12 year-old teams
Junior Softball - 13-14 year-old teams
Senior Softball - 15-16 year-old teams
Minor Baseball - 9-10 year-old teams
Major Baseball - 11-12 year-old teams
Intermediate 50/70 Baseball - 13 year-old teams
Junior 60/90 Baseball - 14 year-old teams
Senior Baseball - 15-16 year-old teams
Every RLL Child will be assigned or drafted to a team.
-Drafted teams are only in Minor Baseball or Softball and above when more than 1 team will be formed.
-Evaluations are required for Pee-Wee Player Pitch Baseball, Minor Baseball/Softball, and Major Baseball/Softball.
If you are interested in volunteering to lead or help coach a team, please choose that option when registering your player.
Ridgefield Little League is offering a partial refund in registration fees to Parents/Guardians that Volunteer to coach or volunteer as a League Umpire or League volunteer for various RLL volunteer needs. DETAILS of the Volunteer Refunds can be found HERE.
The registration fees are used to cover costs of the Fields being used at Abrams Park & RORC and other Facilities for Players and Teams, Little League Charter and Insurance, Balls and equipment, Safety items, team gear, Jerseys and Hats/Visors for the players. We appreciate your attention to this information.RLL will be registering Teams, Coaches and Players with the hope of having Coaches and enough players for each team in the various divisions to be able to play the Spring season effectively. If a team in a division is not able to have a volunteer coach or enough players, RLL will try various efforts to resolve and have a team for players to be on. If RLL is not able to have a volunteer coach or enough players, RLL will cancel that team or division and issue refunds to the players families.Spring 2025 SCHEDULE & TIMELINESThe 2025 Spring Baseball & Softball season will run for approximately 10-12 weeks, with teams starting practices in Early March and Games will be scheduled with other Leagues in the District for home and away games, starting in around the same time and the Season ending the June 7th 2025.(Except Tee-Ball & Pee-Wee which will play through June 14th, 2025).
LATE REGISTRATION: starts March 1st, 2025 for all divisions. Late Registrations will have a non-refundable $50 fee applied to register for all divisions.
WITHDRAWLS: Beginning March 1, a $75 cancellation fee will apply to any withdrawals from the league. By this point, we will be finalizing rosters, securing team spots, and submitting payments for league fees. This policy helps ensure that we can properly plan for teams, coaches, uniforms, and league operations—allowing us to provide the best experience possible for all players.
Games will be scheduled during the week and on Saturdays during the season. Practices will be held 1 or 2 times during the rest of the week.PLAY BALL!
